I remember how we would rush through our lunches, eager to squeeze in every possible second of playtime before the bell rang for the next class. Childhood has always been a deep well of inspiration for me, a reminder of how simple life can be. Back then, a single silly joke was enough to keep us laughing through the entire recess.

The Chicken Fight captures that pure, unfiltered version of ourselves—the innocent spirit that found joy in the smallest things. As I painted this piece, all of those wonderful memories came rushing back. About the Artwork

This artwork is presented as a unique two-piece set that together tells a story of childhood fun. While the main canvas captures the chaotic joy of a chicken fight, I wanted to complete the narrative with an accompanying scene.

The smaller side piece depicts "us" being made to stand outside the classroom. Rather than looking defeated, it captures that carefree spirit of youth—focusing entirely on the lingering joy of the game and completely forgetting about the discipline.
