Jesley Lau is a self-taught Hong Kong artist and the creator of ohimgood, a tender and slightly off world of illustrations. After years in advertising and marketing, she began drawing again during a period of major life change after moving to Canada.

Personal but relatable, her illustrations remind us that being weird, sensitive, and unsure is something many of us quietly share.

The name ohimgood comes with a small thumbs-up: a simple answer for complicated feelings, awkward moments, and decisions that are easier to understand in your body than to explain out loud. It is not about saying no to everything, but about knowing what feels right enough to try, and what does not.

ohimgood moves between drawings, objects, and things people can keep close — partly out of restlessness, and partly because ordinary life already has too many good surfaces to draw on.
