Never Growing Up Together

"We worry so much about aging gracefully, but the greatest gift of all is never growing up together."

Society constantly tells us how we should navigate adulthood—how we must behave, carry our responsibilities, and present ourselves to the world. Yet, I’ve found that we are our most authentic, effortless selves when we are with the people who make us feel safe enough to remain children at heart. Whether it is with a partner, a lifelong friend, or family, finding someone who shares your playful innocence is a rare and beautiful treasure. I painted Never Growing Up Together as a gentle reminder to pause, exhale, and reconnect with those simple, joyful moments we so easily lose in the hustle of daily life.

To bring this feeling of lightness to life, I added a special touch using UV resin to create tactile, three-dimensional "child bubbles" across the canvas. Just like our most cherished memories, these bubbles beautifully catch and reflect the natural sunlight.
